It all begins with a big idea.
Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, there is a process to getting to that final endpoint. I use a six-step creative process in all forms of creation. This process allows me to stay driven and guided to reach that final end goal that I am seeking.
Evaluation.
Assessing and refining the ideas generated during the illumination stage. This involves critically examining the feasibility, relevance, and effectiveness of the concepts.
Elaboration.
Developing and expanding upon the chosen idea. This stage involves fleshing out the details, refining the concept, and transforming it into a tangible form, whether it be a work of art, a product, or a solution to a problem.
Verification.
Confirming the validity and effectiveness of the final product or solution. This may involve testing, feedback, and making adjustments as necessary.
Preparation.
Gathering information, knowledge, and resources related to the creative task. This stage involves research, learning, and immersing oneself in the relevant subject matter.
Incubation.
Allowing ideas to marinate in the mind without active effort. This is a subconscious process where the brain continues to work on the problem or task even when the individual is not consciously thinking about it.
Illumination.
The "aha!" moment when a solution or idea suddenly becomes clear. It's often a moment of realization or inspiration that results from the subconscious processing during the incubation stage.
